October/November Mission Project

"Shoeboxes" for Seniors

Organized by the Lancaster Council on Aging

What to do: Pack some items form the list below for a gift in a shoebox, gift bag, or Ziploc bag. You may also come up with ideas of your own to make a sweet gift for a senior. Mark the box or bag as “male” or “female” or “either.” Gifts will go to clients associated with the Council on Aging. Gifts must be delivered to the church by Sunday, November 29. If we don't have them by this date, they cannot be delivered.

Advent Season Mission Project
Vulnerable children and families all over the world face each day without the security of safe food, water, and shelter. We can help. Consider making a gift to support the security of families.
Send a gift to vulnerable children and families around the world. Go to samaritanspurse.org/catalog to see the inventory of contributions you can make. You can search by project/category through the site.
We'll highlight some of these opportunities in worship throughout Advent.
